Mian Farooq Ahmed is the Chairman of Multi Resin Industries. As one of its founding members and has seen it progress through chemical manufacturing, business management and general management. With his expertise and diversified experience, he has taken MRI to a level which is appreciated by both local and international business communities. Before being appointed Chairman, he had held several roles across the Multi Resin Industries, also serving as the Executive Director.

Prior to MRI, Mian Farooq Ahmed remained a part of multi-national company Hoechst for several years. At MRI, Farooq Ahmed has played a critical role in developing a ‘Sustainable Future’ vision and a strategic plan to guide the entire company. He also remains a strong believer in social enterprise and the responsibility of businesses toward environmental and human wellbeing.

Mian Farooq Ahmed having over 35 year experience in chemical industry, holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and Post Graduate Diploma from the German Institute.
